MISSION The Purple & White Club will establish and build financial support for all of Niagara University’s Division I teams. The club will also help organize the athletic depart- ment’s fundraising and friend-raising activities. GOALS 1. To serve as a source of pride for students, alumni and fans. 2. To increase financial support each year for the athletic department. 3. To increase the number of donors each year. ABOUT THE PURPLE & WHITE CLUB The Purple & White Club is the annual giving organization that supports all of Niagara’s athletic programs. The club will organize all friend-raising and fundraising activities. The philanthropy of our former letter-winners, alumni, fans and parents makes a difference in the lives of our student-athletes, coaches and teams. Purple & White Club gifts are used to enhance recruiting and bolster travel and equipment budgets, but they also support other priorities as determined by our coaches. The Department of Athletics’ ask is always for the Purple & White Club because it supports the department’s highest priorities. However, any gift to a special project or team makes you a Purple & White club member. The Purple & White Club has a newly designed benefit chart that illustrates one way that we are saying thank you for your philanthropy. The levels and benefits were developed from conversations with alumni, fans and our coaches. Giving from the heart is special and deserves a special thank you. It is our goal to be more consistent in showing you our gratitude. These benefits are one way we will ac- complish that goal. Annual gifts are credited to the Purple & White Club from June 1 to May 31. The Purple & White Club is one of the best ways that we can continue to connect with letter-winners, alumni and fans. Throughout the course of the academic year, the Purple & White Club will host friend-raising activities in Western New York and across the nation.
